First off: unexpected Shore backstory! I'm betting it was one of his parents, since he never talks about them and no one in Dedham mentioned them.

I had a feeling his relationship with Denny would end up like this (OK, maybe not "What are you doing in my office?", but...yeah, they both understood one another more than they were willing to say before). And I've already mentioned the salute.

And the whole thing about Shore's "secret." He actually seemed uncomfortable for a moment there.

I continue to like Tara. And all of her six lines.

On the other hand, I hate hate hate hate all the new female characters. They're so whiny it's like I'm watching a reality TV show. The whole plot with the purse...*shudder*

Matthew's cute. Poor guy has to deal with all this shit.

Ellenor's reaction to Jimmy's decision to leave was lovely. There wasn't even any need for words.

And Eugene would be such a badass judge ~~especially if Shore argued before him~~. Yeah.

Remembered Hannah's--names of people I hate stick with me. Did not remember Sally's--checked TVTome because I recognized the actress. And both of them are slated to be in the spinoff. Ick.
