Entertain me at work!

Name a character and I'll give you three or more "facts" from my personal fanon about that character. If it isn't a fandom I know anything about, I'll make something up.

Oooh. Paul, because I'm sure lots of people are gonna say Alan.

Ahahaha, your fanon is my canon for Paul. Nevermind that I haven't seen his actual canon in about a year.

Okay, let me think.

1. Had sex with Alan Shore in a fire escape. Bought a silver ipod mini when they first came out. Has since replaced it with the nano (he's too much of a control freak for the shuffle). He secretly entertains thoughts of the nano's one day stopping a bullet.

2. When particularly angry or frustrated (and unable to bitch at the original source of anger or frustration) he used to drive downtown and park his car illegally, in the hopes of attracting a traffic cop he could yell at.

It's kind of like fishing!

3. Has met Tara Wilson. At the symphony, of all places. Alan hadn't mentioned her to Paul (naturally), so Paul didn't take much notice of her, beyond noting that she was extremely beautiful.

Bonus fact: Hates Alan's pink ties.

*grins!!*

1. And he still bitches about that, too Hahah, this definitely fits with my image of him.

2. Double hahahah! If this shows up in a fic I'm so blaming you.

3. Oooh, innnnteresting. That'd be intriguing.

The bonus is love.

1. Oh, please. As though it was all Alan's idea. I was trying to think of rude things for him to have engraved on it, but my imagination failed me.

2. I would be honored if it did :DD

3. I like pretending Paul has met Tara. I dunno why.

1. Hey, Paul's the one who ended up on the cold hard metal "iFag"?

3. Yeah, makes sense for Alan. (note my mad skillz at replying to another comment in THIS one-- you wish you were this awesome) Someone needs to whap him upside the head with Donne's "no man is an island"...

1. Ahahaha. In my fanon, it also started to rain. Something like that.

3. Alan would quote AD Hope: "You cannot build bridges between wandering islands; / the Mind has no neighbours, and the unteachable heart / Announces its armistice from time to time, but spends / Its love to draw them closer and closer apart."

1. Oh, he's really bitching now

3. I've never heard that! I like it. *hums and adds to the quotes file*

1. ...aaaand they probably locked themselves out. Okay, not really. I'll give them a break.

3. AD Hope is a satirical Australian poet who has written a poem called "Phallus." I'm sure the reasons for Alan's interest are clear.

He also wrote this (http://www.cs.rice.edu/~ssiyer/minstrels/poems/1568.html), which is amusing me.

*sniggers*

I like it as well. *bookmarks this poet for future reference*

I lied, I think I do know why. Because Alan deliberately doesn't make any mention of her because he doesn't see her as relevant and likes to be in control of his personal life. But that ain't how life works.
