I'm feeling guilty about not having a real entry in awhile. So this'll probably devolve to Sam Rockwell and Matchstick Men, but I'll try to mention something that would interest a normal person beforehand. I really enjoy my work study job, mostly because (knock on wood) it involves me doing homework and getting paid $7.25 an hour (I think) to do so. Although we do have the old school espresso machine, so that'll take some getting used to.
I don't seem to be doing much this weekend. It's like I'm on hiatus until I see Matchstick Men again on Monday.
Damn, I've mentioned it already. Oh, my ethno-political conflict class sucks. The professor's all "I don't want to talk to you, e-mail the TAs, I am a scary scary man who talks at machine-gun pace, read 60 pages this week, none of which make sense and some of which are from a book I wrote." But he does have an Irish accent. And he says controversy a lot, pronouncing it "con-TROV-ersy." My final project is going to be on Sri Lanka, which should be interesting, because Michael Ondaatje is from there. I'll pick up my copy of Running in the Family over Thanksgiving break.
Yeah. Back to reading.
