I hate being right all the time

My dad sent the computer to Best Buy a week ago, promising my family (my mother, really) that it would be returned, everything intact and better than ever, within a week. I figured we'd lose everything on it, so I made sure nothing worthwhile was saved to it.
Guess who was right?
We got the computer back last night. Brand new, supposedly. The only problem is that everything has been erased (including my Beecher/Keller wallpaper that the guys at Best Buy deemed "disgusting"). Oh, yeah, and it freezes. Just like it used to. So really, my dad made the computer much much worse. But I don't want to rub it in. I just assumed it would happen anyway. And now his laptop is on the fritz, but I sure as hell am not going to be the one to tell him. So I'm using the ol' kitchen computer before anyone gets hip to the new situation in our house.

I got a Tivo swim cap (I bullied my sister [The Fat One] into giving it to me), which is the hottest thing ever. I don't know if anyone besides Sammi saw "Sex and the City" two weeks ago, but a good portion chronicled Miranda's (I think that's her name) relationship with Tivo. I want to date Tivo! I want to watch British soap operas! I am a pathetic loser!

I actually wrote fanfic last night. I'll post it here after I edit it. It was for an all dialogue challenge and it's Chicago slash (Billy Flynn/Amos), so I don't know how many of you will want to read it, but I wrote it! I finished it! And soon I will go see Pirates of the Carribean and "Cuts Like a Knife," so I'm sure I will have thoughts to share.
