I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

When I was in seventh grade, the nun who taught our class religion would never get my name right. Every day, she'd abbreviate it, and I correct her.

This went on for about a month of so. Then one day, she get's my name wrong, and before I can open my mouth, the entire class (sans me), who were apparently as sick of it as I was, corrected her. At the top of their lungs.

(This was in a Catholic school. It didn't go over well, but she DID get my name right from then on.)

I've been riding horses since I was six. My mother used to own a horse, and took many ribbons in shows and dressage. Now my sister has riding lessons too.

I once fell off a stage castle and landed in a roller pan of black paint.

When I was little... somewhere between four and six years old, I cut my knee open on my grandmother's freezer trying to get ice cream. It's still the most visible scar on my body.

I am a theatre major who has unnatural attraction to delicious men old enough to be my father. When i was 6, i broke my ass. I live in the great white north.

I am an English major. I have horse named Buffy and we can be a pair of bitches. I like your journal because you are smart and insightful and like a lot of the same literature/movies/fandom I do.

I didn't know the guy from SVU was named Elliot until recently. And I have a friend named Elliot, so that made me laugh.

When I last lived in New York, I went to Chinatown and bought fish jerky.

I lived off it one day.

I'm odd like that.

When I was younger had a newfoundland dog named Flash, he always reminded me of Flashbeagle the snoopy cartoon. I love Snoopy. I still have my Snoopy stuffed animal from Macy's - a long long time ago.
