Spent a good portion of the day driving to and from the dentist. I had no cavities, but I thought it rather telling that my sisters, who did, ate candy on the way there. I didn't manage to find a copy of The Great Gatsby anywhere. It was out at the library (They only have one copy. WTF?) and all the bookstores have the annoying edition that I already own. Hmm, that was about all I did today.

Now I'm off to play DDR and then work on the yuletide fic. Then Mystic River at 7. Oh, and old_sport needs some backstory and dead_and_lost needs an intro. Looks like I've got some stuff to keep me busy.

And also I could use a nice hardcover one. The one I own is kinda beat up and has Molly's amusing but sometimes irrelevant highlighting in it.

I've also underlined every slashy line in the entire book.

It's hard to focus on Gatsby as a character when you keep picturing him in bed with Nick showing him his "portfolio"
