Saw The Cooler yesterday with [livejournal.com profile] beechball. Slash must be written (see? my fandoms are more obscure than yours!). Needless to say, I really liked it (the fact that Ron Livingston was randomly in it didn't hurt). Alec Baldwin was really fucking good, as was William H. Macy, of course. His character, Bernie, was so sweet. There was this one scene where he was honestly trying to convince someone that it was a good thing someone utterly destroyed his knee because it reminded him not to gamble. So sad. It was kind of like a weird and twisted Matchstick Men. Or maybe I just need to stop smoking crack. Still, I need a Shelley (sp?) icon...

Bought MI-5 volume one on DVD, which I believe has all the episodes I've actually seen, but it also has the Psalter ep, so hooray for that. Someone please remind me not to pick up Tom Quinn on [livejournal.com profile] theatrical_muse? Thanks.

Went to dinner with my family after my mother gave me the wrong directions...oh, I'm sorry, "there was a miscommunication." I had a peach milkshake that was pure sugar. Afterwards my dad tried to convince me to see Hidalgo. Yeah, right. Better chance of convincing me to see Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.

Other than that...not a whole lot going on. Heading over to my dad's now for a nice 10 am breakfast.

LOVE the Travis Bickle icon...

And ahoy-hoy, another Ron Livingston fan? Surely my eyes deceive me?

Someone else saw The Cooler! Yay! Wasn't he? Alec Baldwin went from seeming kind of nice to just PSYCHO and it was a totally natural character reveal. I could have done without William H. Macy having sex. But that's probably just me. It was really good.

No Hidalgo? But is horsey movie (not that I've seen it either). I work at the Equine Dept. in PETsMART, and we have about forty tons of Hidalgo stuff (beanie babies, models, toy sets, etc.).
