Meanwhile, we all mourn the loss of hot lips and her not-a-bad-ass turn (Gina Torres... we miss Zoe! and Ana! and to some extent Jasmine!)

Seriously, so many plots to wrap up. I love how sidelined Kim's been, although I really need to know before the season's up why the hell Gael needed to tie her up, if he was double-crossing the Salazars anyway. I mean... yeesh.

I was thinking at the beginning of the episode "what happened to the Jack who took a hacksaw to some guy's head?" And then he threatened Jane! YES! Bauer's back (though he never was gonna do it... phooey).

And have you noticed how EVERY person who comes to CTU from division is an asshole? And there's a steady decline of redemption. Mason got it, Ryan tried for it, this new guy will never even think about it. Seriously, it's like the US Government breeds heartless bureaucra-- whoops. (prays FBI doesn't snoop and detain).
