Well, after my roommate woke me up at 4 am and I got back to sleep around 5:30, I had the strangest dream about watching The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, the movie, for class. I had to take notes on "the bad guy," although I can't seem to think of who that might be in the book. Clearly the movie version was inferior. It was in black and white, too, and there was a little boy riding around on a bicycle. Anyway...

Finals start tomorrow. I absolutely cannot wait. Reading days are killing me. There's nothing to do, and the infernal refrigerator is going to drive me to kill again.

In other news, Spader was nominated for a Golden Globe, Sunday's BL was fantabulous, and Betty White is returning to the show for a series of eps. I wonder if this means they'll be going back to Dedham. Either way, backstory potential.

Had they said anything about Brad being in the Marines before? It seemed really random, but frankly made him a lot more interesting/explained a lot. Plus once again the opening scene was just crazy like usual.

What's the deal with the refrigerator? Repetative noises that are annoying?

Good luck on your finals. When do you come home/are you working during break? I'm working and driving home Saturday morning.

Mark Valley was in the marines, and I think there might've been something about it in the first episode, since Alan kept making all those armed forces-related jokes. I thought the opening scene was pretty damn hilarious. Brad's such a Jack Bauer wannabe. And him as a hostage negotiator? That's a disaster waiting to happen. (And you know he's going to be the one saving Shore next episode).

Yeah, it's just making these ridiculously loud, obnoxious noises. We had a power outage a couple days ago. It was bliss.

I get home Friday evening and I'll be working, but I haven't called SB yet so I doubt I'll be on the schedule until the following week.
