I beg to differ. Brad is straightforward, ethical, courageous, handsome, extremely intelligent, and a gentlemen. As far as I'm concerned, he has the attributes that makes me terribly horny.
I can understand how a person like Alan would feel insecure around Brad. By the way, my dear boy, I would work on your delivery. You sound like a queen and I don't mean the Queen of England.
None of your points are based in any fact or even presented as opinion. They are merely negative, fictional and, obviously, without reference.
First, to refute: 1. Abiding by the rules lacks imagination - Rather, it shows strength of character. There are ways you can follow the law and still find a positive outcome. Just because one can think of deviant alternatives, doesn't mean they must employ them. 2. Not courageous - He diffused the courtroom bomber in 'Greater Good' and puts his life on the line for ideals and freedom in the Marines. 3. Handsome - while this is subjective, his symmetry and build do fall in line with conventions. 4. Intelligent - West Point and law school aside, one doesn't rise to the top of a competitive field without intellect. To find legal resolutions that aid the client, rather than cheating, takes a vast understanding of all the laws. 5. Whines - On occasion, Brad will state dissatisfaction with Alan's lack of... well, many things. It's called conversation. 6. Never seen him win - His client was found not guilty of murder in 'Hired Guns', due in large part to an excellent cross of a witness. He did lose the shopping mall development case to Donny. Those are the only two cases we've seen, so it's 50/50. [Alan lost the sexual harassment case to Christine, lost the pharmaceutical case and the slum lord case.]
More could, and will, be said of his good qualities, but not in this comment.
A word to Bravo - I would have thought you could come up with a single positive. You need to look beyond 'Catch and Release'.
