You know what was astounding about last night's episode? Alan actually took responsibility for his actions.

He did Indeed! But he looked so.... angry while doing it. I mean, Alan anger. All cold and the-world-can-fuck-off-because-it's-earned-it.

Definitely cold, but I'm not sure if he was angry at the world so much as himself. But then I'm not sure if there's a distinction to be drawn :P

And because what I have to say is so important that I should add another comment...I think that's why he was angry. The "I did this and there's no way of getting around it."

Also...I'm starting to wonder if it wasn't the money that convinced him not to quit so much as the "you'll be missed for all of five minutes" remark. Well, as I'm typing this I'm becoming reasonably certain.
