You know what's fan-fucking-tastic? Leaving for a walk at 1:45 am because your roommate's webcamming with who the fuck knows from Hong Kong and returning at 2:15 to find her still webcamming.

What is with your bad luck in roommates?

Housing at my school is retarded. We had a bunch of dorms flood with sewage over the summer and consequently the school is having the people who were supposed to be staying there live at the Sheraton.

You live in a HOTEL?

Noooo...other students do. I wish. Although they still have roommates in the hotel rooms.

Well, two beds to a room...

Wow. My uni bought an old hotel to house students in, but it's more like a Motel 6 than a freaking Sheraton.

It's highly idiotic. The school's going into real estate in the area and developing condos, while meanwhile...it can't house its students.

In a very sad and detatched way, I kind of find that funny.

It's like Berkeley! They have quadruplets in their worst dorms. I was originally slated a triplet before I came here.

Gotta love that. I had a roomate that slept all day and was up all night. She hated being up during the day and took all evening classes and did her studying from midnight to 6 AM EVERY NIGHT. Studying included every light in the room, her stereo and or a friend or two. Thank God it was only one semester. We both had internships the following and when we returned she decided to live off campus.

WOW.

See, my roommate's pretty accomodating and I keep thinking it could be worse--for instance, if I had to share a room this small with my roommate from last year, but for crying out loud, I'm a junior and I'm living on a freshman floor with a person who doesn't speak english.

She goes back to Hong Kong after this semester, but I may end up with another roommate, and while I kind of like the location of my dorm (and nothing else about it) I'm gonna apply for a room change. I cannot stand living with someone else in my room.

When I returned I hooked up with a roomate I had for the next two years. Lisa was Dairy major from Queens, NY....Yes, a milking,jewish princess complete with Prada shoes. I loved her!
