Cue rambling! He said 'temporary' loss of trust, but she would've been wary of him forever, and gone out of her way to make him miserable for it. My little sister read my diary a long time ago, and I don't think I ever let her explore my room for about four years after that. Seriously. In my own personal experience older sisters are ridiculously private after their privacy's been breached. Plus, no mention of his family ever? Fairly apparent. (Although they're really stepping up the 'Alan is good! Really!' aspect [which I infer as to make him more human, which in my mind leads to family being introduced], and I've only seen three episodes, so. I can't imagine what the rest of this season was like. And I kinda love the idea of him being a younger brother, because, aww.)
Perhaps the 'older sister' is the girl that stole his virginity...? Or was that little!Ray?
