He has a brown suit that is extremely attractive that I want to put in my fic. That's all I know for sure. And that I am addicted to ticky boxes.
Cue rambling! He said 'temporary' loss of trust, but she would've been wary of him forever, and gone out of her way to make him miserable for it. My little sister read my diary a long time ago, and I don't think I ever let her explore my room for about four years after that. Seriously. In my own personal experience older sisters are ridiculously private after their privacy's been breached. Plus, no mention of his family ever? Fairly apparent. (Although they're really stepping up the 'Alan is good! Really!' aspect [which I infer as to make him more human, which in my mind leads to family being introduced], and I've only seen three episodes, so. I can't imagine what the rest of this season was like. And I kinda love the idea of him being a younger brother, because, aww.)
Perhaps the 'older sister' is the girl that stole his virginity...? Or was that little!Ray?
You've totally nullified your opinion by selecting all of them.
Please please please do. Playing dress-up with Alan is a great reason for writing fic.
Ah, I never kept a diary. I'm smart like that. My siblings had to be content with stealing my money. Oh, he did mention his mother once to Denny, when explaining his fear of clowns. I don't think they're going to introduce his family, though. I wish they'd give some more backstory, but I doubt that as well. The "Alan is good! Really!" stuff (which I can only take in small doses) I take as their way of establishing him as the firm's conscience.
The one way the older sister thing makes sense...there's this movie called Roger Dodger (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0299117/) and the main character is basically a slightly sleazier (and meaner) version of Alan. He has a sister who's several years older than him and in the movie there's a discussion of how his parents never expected to have him. I could definitely see that and then his nephew could come to town and Alan could try to get him laid. Anyway, you should check out the movie. It has dialogue like "Is it your goal in life to humiliate yourself?" "No, it's more of a hobby, really."
I was thinking along those lines. Oh, little!Ray. That thief.
