I loved the conversation he had with her at the bar. He was being SO Alan and she was all serious. He was like, "Hold on, what?" You know what I'm talking about hopefully.

And I just watched the Texas episode last night where he rides the mechanical bull. So. Much. Love. Especially for how he practised the hand motion.

(I know! Alan keeps wanting to intervene, but it conflicts with his stance of antagonistic apathy toward Brad.) Okay, you'll love this. Alan made a deal with an ADA, part of which involved getting her an interview at CP&S. Brad conducted the interview, and once she mentioned Alan's name, decided Alan wanted to hire her because he wanted to sleep with her and...basically was an ass to her. In retaliation, she charges Alan's client with something ridiculous, Alan figures she has a personal vendetta against CP&S and does a bunch of stuff to piss off the DA's office, none of which aids him in winning his case.

So, in a final bid to intimidate the DA, he takes (an unwilling) Brad to the guy's office and tells him unless he drops the charges, Brad's going to run for DA. He even has a "Brad Chase for DA" poster made up. Alan waxes lyrical on Brad's hair, his looks, his body (hence the "gorgeous" remark) and basically says Brad'll win the position by virtue of being handsome. The DA isn't having any of it and tells Brad to go ahead.

And then in the hall afterwards Brad calls Alan a douchebag. In short, Caleb may end up doing detective work for the DA. And Brad would probably give him free rein with the taser.

I loooved it. I think they used all the characters excellently (I almost wrote "sexcellently"). Alan! Denny! Shirley! Garrett! Brad! And even Denise was tolerable.
