Awwww, Alan. Awwwwwww.

ETA: Between this and House, gayest night of TV EVER.

[livejournal.com profile] nicalamity, where are you?

It so does.

I'm worried about all these shows. Sometimes I'll be watching something, like this word salad thing right now, and think, 'Have they been online?'

I'm liking this polygamous argument, though. For it, that is. I think it's cool. Don't know if I'd do it, myself, but... yeah. Cool.

And poor Alan. I'm guessing he's not going to have a mojito soon. (Also, it's awesome that they're thinking about the salad: 'paisley' for 'please'... there's another good example that I heard.)

Mill defended polygamy basically on the grounds that it was a self-regarding action and as long as it didn't harm anyone, he saw no reason to condemn it. Of course, Mill was in England and all the polygamists were sequestered away in Utah. But there was a Supreme Court case that ruled against it (Reynolds v. US), so even if Denise could gain the judge's sympathy...she was pretty much bound to lose.

(...I don't get it.)

Changing subject: AND NOW HE DOESN'T WANT ALAN'S FRIENDSHIP -- WHAT?!?!

(I think it's cool. I'm going to look it up on my own. I see angst!fic possibilities in other fandoms. I also see how it's totally Alan's worst fear.)

[identity profile] 3pipeproblem.livejournal.com 2006-03-29 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
Well, he's Denny Crane. Friendship is a blessing he bestows on others.

(Oh, I meant the paisley thing. Which I still don't get. And yeah. Hahaha, there's a detective novel called Motherless Brooklyn and the narrator has Tourrette's. It reminds me of that.)

Awwwwww. Good ending. They were totally also pushing the DaVinci Code and iPods today though.

(Please has the "ee" the "l" and the "p" of 'paisley'. Paisley totally fits for salad -- it's far enough away to not just be a slip, but close enough so you could tell Alan was trying to talk. And I think he might, in a sort of twisted way, enjoy Tourrette's.)

They were bashing the DaVinci Code. I was pleased.

(Ah, ok. I suspect the novelty of Tourrette's would wear off veeeeery quickly.)
