I'm superstoked for the (1.5-hour!) BL premiere tonight. Yes, it's true, most of the time the new characters suck, but conceptually they sound interesting (and I'm in favor of anyone who's capable of rattling Alan's cage).

In the meantime, I've been watching my new season three DVDs on the computer, which means I'm able to use frame-advance to discover ridiculously dorky details. For example, from the Halloween ep:

They're both in Alan Shore's office!

B O S T O N ! ! ! L E G A L ! ! !

If our staff meeting doesn't break up in time for me to get home on time, I WILL leave before the end, bugger the boss!

Heh!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

I wholeheartedly approve of this plan. I used to (attempt to) schedule classes around BL. And occasionally left group meetings early because I had "a prior commitment."

9:30EST/8:30 central.

It's been on for 20 min here!

Wheeeee, I might be able to sneak out of a meeting early and watch it! \o/

I totally cut out of clubs early to watch shows.

LOL I DON'T CARE ABOUT HOUSE

[identity profile] 3pipeproblem.livejournal.com 2007-09-26 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
I HAD TO BRING IN MY TV AND HOOK IT UP BECAUSE MY SISTER WANTED TO USE THE OTHER TV TO TAPE HOUSE.

Like Fox doesn't rerun it twice a week? Like you can't find it online?

BL is awesome thus far! Alan's being a bad boyfriend.

[identity profile] treelines.livejournal.com 2007-09-26 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
A very bad boyfriend indeed. And a bathroom scene!!

WHO IS THIS BLONDE BRITISH WOMAN AND HOW CAN I FIT HER INTO JIMMY'S LIFE?

[identity profile] 3pipeproblem.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
COULD HE HAVE HAD A CRUSH ON HER AS A SMALL CHILD? Or does her accent preclude their having attended school together?

[identity profile] treelines.livejournal.com 2007-09-26 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
And John Larroquette's character! I love him. Oh, man. I love him as an actor and it is so cool to see him here.

Denny was adorable at the very end with Shirley.

[identity profile] 3pipeproblem.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sold on him yet. And I dunno what they were trying to do with him in that ep--first he's a hardass, fine, but then by the end he seems to have been won over by the firm's charming idiosyncracies. You'd think he could've managed to stay a hardass for more than 90 minutes.

Yes. I don't even know what emoticon to use. It was both adorable and terribly sad.

So... Alan and Denny checking each others penis' in the men's room. hahahahahhaha Apparently little Alan is ashamed! I'm so amused.

[identity profile] 3pipeproblem.livejournal.com 2007-09-26 06:09 pm (UTC)(link)
That was perhaps my favorite line in the episode. Hahaha, Spader's delivery was priceless. That whole scene was priceless.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_redcorvette/ 2007-09-26 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah it was pretty special. Especially them getting caught.

But I kinda loved Denny singing 'you are my sunshine' to Shirley too.

I swear, no matter how long I go without watching it, I ALWAYS love every episode. I try to sympathize with House fans, I do. And it's not a bad show, but it just can't even hold a candle to Alan Shore's awesomeness.

[identity profile] 3pipeproblem.livejournal.com 2007-09-27 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
Hahahaha, they had to get caught. You can't let a moment like that go unwitnessed.

OMG yes. That was wonderful.

I dunno why I like BL so much more than House (well, aside from the fact that House lacks Alan Shore). I mean, I liked it well enough--until last season, anyway--but it doesn't inspire the glee that BL does.

I know I've fangirled to a great extent with you already but I couldn't let this entry go. I really really enjoyed the premiere, but I don't get the Carl Sack character either. He's all hardass one minute then "OMGI'MSOSWEETTOSHIRLEY" the next. I'm scratching my head.

[identity profile] 3pipeproblem.livejournal.com 2007-10-06 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
And this week! Undressing Lorraine with his eyes. DUDE, YOU ARE WITH SHIRLEY. Lorraine does not compare. Although maybe that's more a problem with Lorraine than Carl--I still have no idea why everyone finds her so desirable, and it didn't help that she only had like four lines.
