I'm superstoked for the (1.5-hour!) BL premiere tonight. Yes, it's true, most of the time the new characters suck, but conceptually they sound interesting (and I'm in favor of anyone who's capable of rattling Alan's cage).

In the meantime, I've been watching my new season three DVDs on the computer, which means I'm able to use frame-advance to discover ridiculously dorky details. For example, from the Halloween ep:

They're both in Alan Shore's office!

Wheeeee, I might be able to sneak out of a meeting early and watch it! \o/

I totally cut out of clubs early to watch shows.

LOL I DON'T CARE ABOUT HOUSE

I HAD TO BRING IN MY TV AND HOOK IT UP BECAUSE MY SISTER WANTED TO USE THE OTHER TV TO TAPE HOUSE.

Like Fox doesn't rerun it twice a week? Like you can't find it online?

BL is awesome thus far! Alan's being a bad boyfriend.

A very bad boyfriend indeed. And a bathroom scene!!

WHO IS THIS BLONDE BRITISH WOMAN AND HOW CAN I FIT HER INTO JIMMY'S LIFE?

COULD HE HAVE HAD A CRUSH ON HER AS A SMALL CHILD? Or does her accent preclude their having attended school together?

And John Larroquette's character! I love him. Oh, man. I love him as an actor and it is so cool to see him here.

Denny was adorable at the very end with Shirley.

I'm not sold on him yet. And I dunno what they were trying to do with him in that ep--first he's a hardass, fine, but then by the end he seems to have been won over by the firm's charming idiosyncracies. You'd think he could've managed to stay a hardass for more than 90 minutes.

Yes. I don't even know what emoticon to use. It was both adorable and terribly sad.
