(no subject)

I just thought up a title so good, it makes me want to write a story deserving of it.

ETA: I'm pretty sure I'll be in the last batch of pinch hits sent out (speaking of which, we've run into some trouble with Yahoogroups), so if any of you have love for Mad Men, Alan Shore, or Topher Brink, consider this advance notice. You could even combine all my requests and write about Alan and Topher being mad at each other! False alarm. Although you're still cordially invited to write me a stocking stuffer about Alan and Topher being mad at each other.

What's-his-face, Wallace Stevens used to write down titles in a separate book from his poems. Sometimes he went years before finding the right poem for a title, or vice-versa. One notable example is "A Rabbit as King of the Ghosts."

See, if I had years and years, that's probably the method I would choose to employ. (My title isn't nearly as awesome as that one, however.)

Did you get your story squared away?

A Yuletide story? I couldn't do Yuletide this year. :( Way too many obligations with the kids. I think I'll do some NYRs and stocking stuffers (can I do that?), but until I'm finished with my masters work and until I've got the classroom all ready, I can't.

Sadness! For some reason I was convinced you'd signed up. Stocking stuffers are open to anyone with an AO3 (http://archiveofourown.org/") account--if you don't already have one, you can request an invite and they should be able to hook you up pretty quickly.

Good luck with everything!

Which is naturally the reason I'm putzing around on the internet right now. FOR THE CHILDREN.

You're an inspiration.

Sure sign of the Apocalypse for sure

You?? Waitaminite! Who are you and what have you done with 3pipe??

As for me, I am still waiting for someone to write me "Trial by Jerry."

I know! This could very well lead to an existential crisis.

Ahahaahahahahahahaha. I want "Citizen Crane," dammit.

HEH! You know, that makes me hear Lara's Theme even before "Rosebud."

OH MY GOD. I can't wait until the Yuletide reveal so I can tell everyone about the insanely stupid thing I did yesterday. (I mean, I picked up a pinch hit, but it gets even stupider and more insane.)

If you took the S5 married schmoop request, I am going to laugh my ass off, because I wanted to, but I could not Could Not COULD NOT think about or rewatch S5.

Happy ho, ho, ho to you!

I'm not familiar with this S5 of which you speak. So there.

And to you! Ahaha, I may end up seeing the Holmes movie if family drama gets to be too much for me.
