Yeah, my VCR keeps eating the tape I used for this one, so I had to go by memory. Lovely ep, as usual, but no Eugene. Some good Tara development, though.
"Look, Mr..."
"Shore, but you can call me Michael."
"I thought your name was Alan."
"Good, you can listen. That's a start."
"The victim was a drug dealer. My client is a drug dealer. One down, one to go. That concludes my opening statement."
"Nobody slaps me twice. At least not in the face."
Sidenote: *Must* he remind me of Secretary every other episode? Oh, shit. I think I just conceived of slashing Shore with E. Edward Grey. The horror...
"What were you watching?"
"Joe Millionaire."
"Ah, figures."
And he kowtowed to the witness. That was an amazing moment in the history of television.
"Objection. There's no call for sarcasm, your honor."
And the judge chuckles and sustains it...
Ah, yes. At one point he sustains an objection against him. That was amusing.
"My clients hit me all the time."
I hated how everyone was like "Oooh, I'm special. I know you really care." He needs to do something really appalling next episode to make up for it.
I did like how he pretended to be smitten with the judge in order to get out of the case. And she called him sexy! So true, so true.

I'm glad you think so, because I'm going to marry him.
Hmm, Carolyn Shore...it actually sounds good.
