Well...
I'm kind of in a panic about this Genet thing. Honestly, I think I have a lot of good info (although I would have liked to actually read one of his works), but I need some way to BS ten sources by tomorrow. I hope I can manage. I can always say I used things I didn't. *shrug*
In good news, my Queer Cinema teacher e-mailed me and said he'd like me to submit myextremely cynical lambasting analysis of Philadelphia to this "Best of Freshman Writing" thing, so I'm excited about that. But I have to e-mail him back, which requires writing a letter. Ugh. Even Genet couldn't write letters well.
In *really* good news, the James Spader Seinfeld episode is on tonight!!!!111
EDIT: As soon as I started filling out the meme thing for Dorian, "London Calling" came up on my playlist. Freaky.
EDITx2: OMG, in his introduction Sartre 1) practically writes my paper and 2) references Ulysses. He's my hero!

Wait...
Prison IS mentioned several times in THE MAIDS. It's a threat in the background, if the sisters are found out to have framed Madame's lover for a theft he didn't committ, they could go to prison. Devil's island is mentioned as well, along with imagery of the thief being followed to prison by his prostitute lover. This imagery typically is used for Solange, the elder (and crazier) sister.
