Various...administrative...things

Cool points if you get the movie reference in the subject line. I just realized that I only have one more swim practice this week. So I'm basically free until the weekend (kind of ironic, eh?) when I have to work. I should pick my classes soon. If I get a lot of work done today, I probably won't have to do anything for the rest of the week. Good times.

They started a classic film festival, a la Chicago's outdoor film festival, at Artisian Park. But they're showing weird movies that I haven't heard of. Like The Egg and I from 1947. What? The only one I've heard of is Pride of the Yankees, because Cordelia would talk about it all the time. And it was mentioned on Homicide. I want to see Rear Window at the outdoor film festival in Chicago, but it's showing August 26 (it's the last one) and I leave the 27th. So I don't know if that's really going to work.

Brooks' bio in the "Kiss Me, Kate" program said that he performed the title role in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. And Brian believed it.

Am I boring you? Go here.

Pearl Jam covered "Beast of Burden"? What the hell!

AMAZING

I just got my AP scores (and it's about damn time). So, I look at the little column of grades...ALL 5s!!

Except Calc. I got a 3. It makes me snicker just writing it. I think I studied the most for that one, too.

Oh well. Calc doesn't count anyway. I get English Free (whatever that means) for Lit Crit, Psych 001 for Psychology, Spanish 210 for Spanish Language (I have an awful accent! I wish I could see el senor's face when he opened the envelope with the grades! Priceless!). According to my AP score, though, I should be in Moron!Math. But I don't think I'll take math.

I'm a mad genius. Bow before me.
