Anyway, what? True Colors? May I have a synopsis?

Hahahaha, it's kind of like The Great Gatsby...only not.

Cusack is the guy who comes from nowhere and has ambitions of being a Person of Great Importance; Spader's the one with the influential family. They end up at law school together and become best friends. Spader goes on to work for the justice department (his character is like the anti-Alan) and Cusack goes on to run for Senator...fairly predictable conflicts of interest arise. But it's SO slashy. I'm a fan.

Totally bumped it a few notches on the list.

True Colors! Man, any movie where almost every scene has either John Cusack or James Spader or both is a movie worth watching about a bazillion times. Also, I love John Cusack when he's not the hero of the story.

And Spader isn't the villain OR a dork! It's earth-shattering.

Speaking of dorkyhero!Spader, I watched Alien Hunter yesterday. Oh dear.

HAHAHAHA. That's the one with the line about cornfields and bathing suits!

Oh man. It was so bad. I love that in a movie. But it was a swing and a miss for Mr Spader.

If you can ever get ahold of Tuff Turf...it costars Robert Downey Junior, both he and Spader look about 12, and Spader sings in it. And it's called Tuff Turf. I mean, what more can you ask for?

Hahahahahaha. Oh, I have to find that now. That's awesome. I have a collection of bad movies that I love, that one sounds like it could compete with Dino Putt 3 on the scale of good badness.
