I still haven't finished NDH (almost done with part one), but yeah, it's as awesome as everyone says.

Hahahaha, it's kind of like The Great Gatsby...only not.

Cusack is the guy who comes from nowhere and has ambitions of being a Person of Great Importance; Spader's the one with the influential family. They end up at law school together and become best friends. Spader goes on to work for the justice department (his character is like the anti-Alan) and Cusack goes on to run for Senator...fairly predictable conflicts of interest arise. But it's SO slashy. I'm a fan.

Oooo... I am a sucker for The Great Gatsby. Is there a 'Daisy' figure?

There's a chick. I wouldn't belabor the comparison.

Gotcha.

But, oo! Shiny! Spader and Cusack! *dances* Looks like a movie to go on my 'To Watch' list!

Definitely watch it. And then write me slash. I think in Spader's opening monologue he confesses his love for Cusack.

Gah.

Totally bumped it a few notches on the list.
