It's Edward Norton's birthday today. My sister's, as well, so that shoots my day off to hell. Oh well, at least I have Wednesday to see Masked and Anonymous with [livejournal.com profile] moomookrymoo.

[livejournal.com profile] beechball, where are you? OK, so you're probably getting ready for college. We need to do something! Soon! Like watch Oz! I'm off work at about 4 tomorrow, contact me in some way!

Speaking of work, looks like I'm done working at the Inn. It was a good three week run. Hell, it was an awesome job. I didn't even have to deal with anyone directly. Tangentially related, I got a checking account today. And a Visa Check Card. My mother was very against me getting any sort of credit card, but I really wanted one so I could order things (i.e. British TV shows released on DVD) off the internet. She and the banker seemed to think I could meet my DVD needs at some random store in Philly, and I was really tempted to ask, "Yeah? Name me the store that carries Ultraviolet." Instead my mom let me get a check card. I keep thinking of all the Bond commercials they did for it, around the time Tomorrow Never Dies came out. So I have Q's voice in my head: "Use the Visa Check Card!"

I wrote a Will Graham/Hannibal Lecter fic, which turned out very well, considering I was under pressure to get to Sammi's for SATC (which I missed, because it turned out I didn't have a car anyway). I'll post it when I'm in a better mood. I can't contend with the formatting right now. Not the LJ formatting so much as ff.net. I rented Silence of the Lambs from the library, and I plan to watch it tonight, probably during the party. Antisocial? Who, me? And Will/Lecter is such a good pairing. I want to reread Red Dragon now.

I ate at that Japanese restaurant near Rivertree, [livejournal.com profile] beechball. It was OK. I didn't order sushi, just some noodles and seafood with soup. I ate the noodles like spaghetti and amused the hell out of my sister and my mother. I'm sure my attitude of "I don't know jack about your cultural traditions, so to hell with them" went over really well. Whatever, the food was too expensive anyway.

I think I'm going to sort through my CDs right now. Then I'll post a definitive list of what I'm bringing to college (CD-wise). I know y'all can't wait!
