Oct. 7th, 2003 05:00 pmGod has smiled upon me and moved the screening of 8 1/2 to next week, so I might be able to write this essay the day before it's due. For once.
It's intriguing, actually. I found Philadelphia to be profoundly disappointing. Apparently, so did many critics. It almost put me to sleep. So this essay should be a nice opportunity to vent.
Crap, I just remembered I have to read some of Ulysses as well. I like Ulysses (knock on wood). Don't know why, since I hated Portrait.
And we switched lecturers in ethno-political conflict! He gives us slide print outs and makes sense and talks about Al Pacino and makes veiled insults directed at the other professor! I really want to write him a glowing e-mail. But that wouldn't be too productive at the moment.
That's all. Tomorrow I will have a lot less work to worry about. If all goes well.
