Dec. 16th, 2004 05:51 pmIn the midst of studying for my geology final, for which I'm beginning to think prayer is the best preparation, I'm going to take a break (or maybe the study sessions are the breaks?) and post excerpts from my notes. Ahem. Most of it's Alan/Tara dialogue. It's a shame I didn't write the lecture title at the top. Oh, I can match the pen colors!
( Origin/Structure of the Solar System )
...I appear to have actually taken notes on the hydrologic cycle. And misspelled "plate tectonics."
( Mountains/Mountain Formation )
( Glaciers? Maybe? )
And finally...(this one's a lot better because I'm quoting Chabon...or wait, maybe it's me! who can tell?)
( Science and Religion )
So the first supercontinent was called Rodinia...but I took the liberty of renaming it Rhodesia in my notes. *snort*
