Feb. 12th, 2005 12:10 amI recently discovered that I'm not allowed to access the Film 101 blackboard site, which means I can't read any of the assigned essays. I care about this only because I have a midterm next week, but still...
I e-mail my professor:
Professor D-----,
I'm in your film 101 class and I've just noticed (well, it's just dawned on me) that I don't have access to the class' blackboard site/materials. I'd appreciate it if you could add me.
Thanks a lot,
my loveable self
He e-mails back (promptly, I'll give him that much) with:
How have you been doing the reading all semester?
Granted, it could be an imposter since he didn't even bother to attach his name to it, but COME ON. That's like someone complaining to Meals on Wheels that they haven't been receiving food and hearing as a response, "How have you been eating?"
Then, of course, he says I am on the site, which I'm not, and thus begins another exciting chapter in my life.
