Apr. 11th, 2005 09:40 amUrgh. There has to be some way to arrange a normal sleeping schedule without ditching select classes. My roommate's sister is staying here again (I came back from the water polo tourney and she was here...it made me wonder if she'd been sleeping in my bed) which means more blathering in Korean every night. It does mean fewer phone calls in Korean every night, but I think the benefits and losses pretty much balance out.
Boston Legal...O_O ABC is stupid enough to warrant an anime smiley. Let's completely break any semblance of continuity as we bend over backwards for Grey's Anatomy. Lovely. I've been wondering if this means we're guaranteed 27 episodes, as in they can't cancel it mid-season. That would mollify me somewhat. BUT NOT A FREAKING LOT.
Speaking of ABC, Eyes is a great show that should be watched by all before its inevitable cancellation. We have Tim Daly's (<3) character, who's all snarky and "morally flexible" and when all's said and done a pretty good guy. But wait, there's more! We also have the Angry, Gay, Possibly Mentally Ill Black Man! Ahem. Also known as Chris. I think. Needless to say, he's pretty awesome, even when not reduced to a stereotype by me. There's also Jeff, who I'm rather fond of. He's a pathological liar. I'm not sure to what extent Judd (that'd be Tim Daly--his character's last name, thank you very much) is aware of Jeff's pathological liar-ness, but it makes things interesting. It's full of plot twists and all that jazz, but they aren't crazy big and heralded by explosions like all of 24's. They're more in the vein of Judd deciding he doesn't want to help his client pay a ransom anymore--he'd rather work with the kidnapper, because his client's an asshole. It's pretty entertaining. Watch it while you can (Wednesdays at 10)!
Hmm...oh, the tournament. It was a pretty good time, but we lost to a team ranked beneath us and thus came in third place when we'd been hoping to win. That made Saturday night pretty tense, what with everyone coping in their own unique and special ways (I mostly chilled on the internet--I'd kind of seen it coming and nobody else had). I got to play field in the third place game, which I kinda love. I definitely scored a goal, had my defender attempt to drown me while the ball was nowhere near us (I said "whoa there, killer" to her. Seriously.) and stared down a girl who was thinking about chasing me for the ball. Very fun, although rather exhausting. I did want to go to Texas the week after finals, though.Maybe I'll head to Boston instead.
I also want to write a story about Alan teaching Brad to program a VCR. Um. For my future reference.
