3pipeproblem: (Alan the pimp)
Yes, periodically I like to reward my loyal readers for putting up with my crap.

First of all, [livejournal.com profile] dien made my life by drawing this absolutely gorgeous Alan Shore/Paul Smecker (R-rated). Eeeee. I have now taken it upon myself to write accompanying dialogue.

Onto free music:

Stars-Your Ex-Lover is Dead

For some reason, when I first downloaded this it automatically started playing on my computer (which never happens because I accidentally clicked the wrong box long ago and far away) and it was the most amazing thing ever. Then, to follow:

Stars-One More Night (Your Ex-Lover Remains Dead)

Guh. I almost like this one better.

Iron & Wine and Calexico-History of Lovers

Ad Frank & The Fast Easy Women-The World's Best Ex-Boyfriend

Alan song. Of course.

Snow Patrol-Wow

And for the sake of amusement

Guided By Voices-Baba O'Riley

I actually like this more than the original. Especially "We start...with some power chords!"

When you see this on your flist, quote some Shakespeare.

The first thing we do, let's--

Richard loves Richard; that is, I and I.
Is there a murderer here? No. Yes, I am.
Then fly! What, from myself? Great reason why:
Lest I revenge. What, myself upon myself?
Alack, I love myself. Wherefore? For any good
That I myself have done unto myself?
O, no! Alas, I rather hate myself
For hateful deeds committed by myself.
I am a villain. Yet I lie. I am not.
Fool, of thyself speak well. Fool, do not flatter.
My conscience hath a thousand several tongues,
And every tongue brings in a several tale,
And every tale condemns me for a villain.
