Saw Man on Fire last night. A-mazing. beechball, your review did not do it justice. It's like an hour and a half of Denzel Washington getting progressively more and more pissed off (as he is wont to do) and then another hour of him blowing shit up. Plus, the sound was great. We had Nine Inch Nails, Linda Rondstat covering a Roy Orbison song, and this Lord of the Rings ripoff music that made my brother and me giggle insanely.


He shoves a bomb up a guy's ass (no, they do not show it). Greatest thing ever. I think I was the only person in the theater who was laughing, though.

And, you know. He cuts off fingers. And shoots people. And blows up nightclubs. It was great.

There was a lot of swimming. It should be noted that there is no such event as the 150 freestyle. Although they only showed the girl swimming a fifty, so...meh.

He's this man with a sketchy past and a drinking problem who's hired by a family in some Latin American country to be the bodyguard for their daughter. He gets really attached to the kid, but then she'd kidnapped and killed. So he vows to kill anyone even remotely involved and goes on a rampage. It's fantastic. Walken's a weapons dealer.

Ooooh. That does sound fantastic. Hey, there's an idea for season four, lol.

Aw, they do kill the kid? Poor kid :( But it's Dakota Fanning and she's a little scary.
