3pipeproblemLaw and Order: SVU Season One. Complete with Chris Meloni goodness (honestly, why else would I watch it?)!
And MI-5 premieres on A&E tonight at 8. I'm stoked.
Oooooh, the tagline is "They search for the truth. Their lives are a lie." It's already a smash hit in England, so it'll probably fail miserably here.
So, MI-5 is the security service in England (I know this from reading James Bond books), like the FBI. MI-6 is intelligence, more like the CIA (Bond works for MI-6). From what I understand, MI-5, however, follows fewer regulations than the FBI. The show definitely isn't going to be squeaky clean and odds are there aren't any Jack Bauer-like characters. They'd end up dead. MI-5 recruits academics out of Oxford and trains them intensely. How badass.

Spooks definitely *isn't* squeaky clean! We're almost at the end of season 2 here, and it's still very powerful stuff.
