Two minutes. They break up my OTP and put an end to 30 episodes' worth of sexual tension in two minutes. And Tara's--apparently--still there? At least the promo for next week makes it look like they'll deal with it.
On the other hand, this episode went to show why I don't write Alan/Denny. The writers do it for me.
Airsick!Alan was awesome, especially the remark about not understanding the aerodynamics of a helicopter. He was such a dork in this episode. Sitting in bed reading about salmon (in his Red Sox sweatshirt ♥)? And then citing off the top of his head all those species that've become exinct? Dork.
Wtf Lori? She was there for like three seconds. And she totally sounded like Chloe. "We should be really nice when we talk to Alan today. Tara dumped him. In the neck." (Chloe/Alan demands to be written.)
Brad, Tara and Shirley is my investigative team of choice. I can see it now: Law & Order: Not my Problem.
God, all the Denny/Alan stuff. I love Denny and Alan, of course, and...eh, I think it was a pretty good way of having him cope with the Tara thing. I'll have to rewatch the conversation about worst fears because some of it seemed a little...off ("I think in a past life I was murdered in my sleep" not being one of those parts). And I love the costumes, but seriously, they need to pace themselves. We had Alan in fishing gear, Alan in a fur hat, Alan in jeans (which counts as a costume for him), Alan in PJs, and Alan in robes and a wig all in one episode.
Oh. The new people. They're okay, I guess. The stuff with the priest was just absurd (and not in the good way like everything else). I'm partial to Garrett, but the almighty

Ok. I need caps.
ETA: And he hung up on her. :(
Hahaha, scotch at 9 am.
Okay, Alan being vaguely whiney in the helicopter is love. "I hate nature."

Date: 2005-10-12 06:57 pm (UTC)I have a thought about the situation, but... there's no way to really know for certain. I don't think Miss Tara is gone for good. THAT was not the final breakup of Alan/Tara. Not at all. I honestly believe that was David E. Kelley's way of writing her off, open-ended, with hopes of Rhona's return. The only way to really know would be to find out WHY Rhona left. But, that most certainly wasn't the end. Tara will be back.
Law & Order: Not My Problem would be my crack. Or, Law and Order: Make Brad Do It. *smirk*
Denny/Alan makes me happy. "I think I know why Tara broke up with you. I'm about to." EEE. So cute. And I LOVE the fact that Alan came back to the office wearing that goofy hat. I should make a colour bar - Alan's hat is love. ^_^
And yes, I'm so making icons. ^^

That color bar needs to be made, you're right. Gah, I need to work on my music video! *hits the clock* Why won't you make more hours in the day!?
