For the record: I have no intention of going anywhere (not for now, at any rate). I don't personally feel threatened by what's going on now, but I am appalled by LJ/6A's business practices and have been...well, ever since the post where they tried to sell sponsored communities as simply "catering to our needs." I don't trust them, I don't think they're honest with us as customers, and I won't be surprised if things just deteriorate from here.

I am paraprosdokian (look, I've taught most of you a new word!) at GJ and 3pipeproblem at IJ. I may work out some cross-posting stuff later; depends how bored I am at work.

ETA: And 3pipeproblem on JF. Which means I can now comment to Fandom Wank posts!

I chose it really late at night. LJ was stressing me out and GJ REJECTED ALL MY USERNAME IDEAS ("3pipeproblem" and "chimesatmidnight") so I just opened some website I'd bookmarked that lists all the rhetorical tropes known to man and picked one. (I shall link you when I'm on my own comp.)

The biggest advantage in knowing it is that you can google and read amusing examples.
