FastEddieFelson
Congratulations! You're Fast Eddie Felson from
"The Hustler"!! You're a rebellious
loner who's kind of lost in life. You'd do
anything to prove yourself, even if it might
hurt you or others. Don't worry though,
eventually you'll realize what's important to
you and stand up for your morals while doing
the right thing. ...Plus you're one of Paul
Newman's best roles :-P

Which Paul Newman Character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

EDIT: I just realized this. All of Paul Newman's characters rock. Butch Cassidy, Eddie, Cool Hand Luke...damn.

Browsing The Pit of Voles, I encountered several lovely pairings that could only work in Good Omens land:

SLASH Famine/Pollution

SLASH Adam/Death

Wensleydale/Death (note to self: read this)

Crowely/Aziralphe (I only include this because IT'S THE ENTIRE SUMMARY. They misspelled BOTH names. That's skill, right there.)

And this gem: "Crowley's plants finally get their wish."

I feel rather proud of myself. I've accomplished a great deal and it's only 11 AM. By all rights, I shouldn't even be awake right now. I bought a book of stamps (I just. Wanted. One.) and mailed the payment for my Billy Flynn poster, which should arrive in 2-5 weeks. After they receive the payment, that is. So I'm looking at October 19th as the arrival date. I don't really mind, though. It'll give me something to look forward to after Intolerable Cruelty comes out. I then went to the bookstore, due to some confusion about the pool's hours (actually, the confusion was all on my part, and it was about which pool I was swimming in). Our bookstore boggles my mind. They don't have normal DVDs, like The Silence of the Lambs or Crash (although I don't know if "normal" is the right word to describe that film). Instead, they have Campbell Scott's Hamlet, A&E's The Great Gatsby, and The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes. That's right. It was at our damn bookstore. I don't think I'll have time to watch it before class, though.

I then went swimming, which was nice. Our pool looks lovely and all from a distance, but in reality it could use a good cleaning. I was the fastest person there, which made me feel good about myself in the way that ff.net's Harry Potter category makes me feel good about myself.

Now I have to go drop off forms for my work study job. If I can stay awake that long. Then to class, with Crowley and Aziraphale goodness during my hour break. Today's going to be a really nice day. Provided I can stay awake.

Words cannot describe how incredibly hilarious this movie is.

"What if we got married?"
"Then they'd really talk."

Heh. The only case so far has been some woman trying to use Holmes for sex. Do I sound like I'm kidding? It's AMAZING. Really. And not out of character, either. Well, not that much.

And there are all these references to the canon that are equally amusing. I haven't even gotten to Mycroft or the midgets or the Loch Ness Monster.

I'm not joking.

EDIT:
"Well, maybe Mrs. Hudson is entertaining."
"I never found her so."
