An all-important entry about...stuff!
Oct. 19th, 2003 11:52 amWell, I finished my Ulysses reading at least. "Lestrygonians" and "Scylla and Charybdis" were equally heartbreaking, although I vastly preferred "Lestrygonians." Much easier to inhabit Bloom's head than Stephen's. Love the way Bloom was portrayed at the end of "S&C" though. My prof has remarked that Ulysses is a very cinematic book, and it is (half the stuff is in screenplay format anyway). I can picture just about everything that goes on. It's very nice, to say the least. Or devastating, depending.
The Practice is on in 10 hours! I can hardly wait! Hopefully I'll get enough work done to be able to watch it in real time. Alan and Sheila's relationship intrigues me. I wonder why he cares about her so much. What is it that he sees in her (that really, no one else sees)? I mean, it isn't just that she's a phenomenal lawyer. I could probably figure this out if I weren't due at work in 5 minutes.
Speaking of Alan, though,
kittydesade and I are developing this superb RPG idea...the snarkiness will be simply overwhelming. I smile at the thought.
And why am I using this icon? No idea. Well, Wes is hot. There's an idea.
