Not much has been going on lately, which is to blame for the appalling lack of updates. I just realized that I read like 3 books over the summer. They are: A Study in Scarlet, The Sign of Four, and The Hound of the Baskervilles. Slightly less than impressive, especially since I've read them all before. Oh, and OotP.
Before I go, I really want to stay up all night reading, as per el senor's suggestion. Now all I need is a book. It'd be nice to read Holmes all through the night, but I kinda think he intended the suggestion for a book I haven't read. The Sherlock Holmes novels were the first classics I read. I read them in second grade (seriously, and I'm not trying to brag; they're pretty easy to undestand). I guess maybe that integrated the language into my vocabulary, because I go back and reread the books and I understand all the obscure Victorian language. But anyway, reading it would be like bringing things full circle. Except that I already started rereading Holmes and it wouldn't seem like anything out of the ordinary.
What else? Saw Far From Heaven (and bought it, not in that order) with Brad. Decided that Frank needs to be slashed with Roger and that all cool people drink scotch. More on that later, probably. Played a lot of DDR. Rented a Campbell Scott movie that I have yet to finish. Hopefully, I'll get done with work an hour early today so I can get some stuff done before the Penn reception. And I can call Brian so we can go together. Wow, abrupt sentences rock.
