3pipeproblemToday was hell. Thankfully, my Ethno-Political Conflict TA is very skilled at deflecting moronic comments, otherwise I might have gouged my eyes out with a pair of sissors, since I have no utensils. Broken glass would have worked, too.
But, anyway. Not much to say about tonight's MI-5, except that American accents sound so...ugh. On the show, that is. And Tom somehow manages to seduce everyone in a 20 mile radius of him without even trying.
So I'm reading Blood-Dark Track. It's an account of how this man's two grandfathers were both held in internment camps. His Turkish grandfather was psychologically terrorized in prison, and, as a result, threw himself over a balcony. OK, so we have documented evidence of someone doing this and surviving. Why, then, couldn't a certain character from Oz survive? And he was certainly in better health than this guy's grandfather, who hadn't had water and had been mutilating himself. Grrrr.
