OK, a theme from last night's RP keeps cropping up in my paper.

*will buy everyone a round of drinks if she gets a good grade*

EDIT: I'm so tired that I have to keep blinking to stay awake. Like Roy. Which is distracting.
EDIT x2: Am. Writing. Paper. Like. Holmes. *shoots self* Although I suspect my teacher is a Sherlockian...and at least I'm not writing it like Frank.

What theme?

The tension of personal v. professional, as well as rational v. emotional (or "affective" as the prof. termed it today in class). Very Holmes themes. The book is a little weird, as it's written by a barrister researching his two grandfathers, one Turkish and one Irish, who were both in internment camps during WWII.
