Later I promise a Ulysses update. When I'm not in such a pissy mood. I know, try to contain your excitement.
So I woke up this morning, as I am in the habit of doing (at 7:45, for the record) and I've got like 10 minutes to get ready for work, as I usually do. This mainly involves showering and packing up my laptop (so I can doing important things like write LJ entries and use my music to block out the insane security guards). Only today I wake up and my roommate is in the shower. Uh...WTF? There's no reason she should even be awake at 7:45, much less showering. Plus, she takes a crazy long time (I take like 4 minute showers. She gave me enough time to watch some of last night's 24.) and then she goes back to bed. The hell? And of course I am now late for work. Ugh. And I won't even go into my repeated journeys to and from the 25th floor in the building in order to get cups that someone else should have stocked. I have a headache already. And thinking about today's schedule doesn't help.
I work at the cafe until 12.
12-12:35 I get to sleep, what will likely be the high point of my day.
1:00-2:00 Ulysses class on the other side of campus. I lied. This will be the high point of my day.
2:00-2:15 I eat lunch.
2:15-2:45 Watch 1/3 of the movie I was supposed to watch for HW but couldn't because the only time I had free someone was already watching it.
3:00-4:30 Queer Cinema and Medicine.
4:30-5:30 Watch the rest of the damn movie.
5:30-? Meet with advisor about registration. Poor guy, I'm going to be in such a bad mood.
6:00 Dinner. Or something.
6:45 Work the door for Philo's film screening. If *I* can get into the building, which is a stretch anyway.
7:00-9:00 Watch film. Try not to fall asleep.
9:00-10:00 Angel.
Ugh. I officially have no free time.

Buffy - You can save the world and be back in time
for dinner. Or can you? It's great that you
can take on so much responsibility, but beware
the burn-out factor, and let yourself get some
rest now and again. And teach me those leg-
moves, would ya?

Date: 2003-11-05 05:00 pm (UTC)If you ever want to take refuge in a boring, circa 1875, mundane, cerebral. AU RP romance to alleviate your sucky day, you just let me know. I'll be on... oh, most of the day. I have to clean up in the kitchen, though.
