3pipeproblemI'm back from walking out of LXG. This is the first movie I've ever walked out of, actually, except for The Hulk, which I kinda had to leave. I didn't mind the movie very much. Sure, it was incredibly stupid and the plot twists made no sense, but it was mildly amusing to see characters from literature interacting. It was a lot like reading bad fanfic.
And...DORIAN GRAY WAS IN IT! Why doesn't anyone tell me these things? Of course, he ended up being a traitor (which was when I decided it was OK for us to leave). I'm not exactly giving away state secrets here; what else is Dorian gonna do in an action movie? He's immortal (Apparently. I don't agree with that interpretation.)! Half...no, a good 2/3 of the characters were completely ridiculous, but the set design was nice. Once Dorian was gone (or the prospect of developing his character, rather), I had no reason to stay.
I liked to hear people yelling "DORIAN!" though. I just love that name.
And Shane West reminded me of Lee Tergesen at certain random points.
