Jul. 21st, 2003 09:17 amCool points if you get the movie reference in the subject line. I just realized that I only have one more swim practice this week. So I'm basically free until the weekend (kind of ironic, eh?) when I have to work. I should pick my classes soon. If I get a lot of work done today, I probably won't have to do anything for the rest of the week. Good times.
They started a classic film festival, a la Chicago's outdoor film festival, at Artisian Park. But they're showing weird movies that I haven't heard of. Like The Egg and I from 1947. What? The only one I've heard of is Pride of the Yankees, because Cordelia would talk about it all the time. And it was mentioned on Homicide. I want to see Rear Window at the outdoor film festival in Chicago, but it's showing August 26 (it's the last one) and I leave the 27th. So I don't know if that's really going to work.
Brooks' bio in the "Kiss Me, Kate" program said that he performed the title role in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. And Brian believed it.
Am I boring you? Go here.
Pearl Jam covered "Beast of Burden"? What the hell!
